Townsville Primary, a neighbourhood school, was officially declared open
on 25 July 1985. The current principal, Miss Chiang Wai Leng has lead
the school since taking up post in 2000 and has continued to endorse the
school’s vision, ‘A vibrant Institute renowned for her excellent
holistic education.’ Townsville’s mission is to nurture its pupils to
become, ‘People of character, patriotic citizens and creative
independent thinkers, who are equipped with relevant skills to meet the
challenges of the 21st Century.’
