The aims of the Contact Seminar were:

•     Participants learn more about the schools, communities and cultures of Thailand, the UK and Indonesia

•     Participants explore the opportunities and challenges of international school partnership work at Local
      Authority and School Cluster level

•     Participants learn about some of the local initiatives and educational projects with external partners and
      schools

•     9 Local Authorities represented form smaller working groups of 3 ‘clusters’ from each country

•     Groups explore the project ‘Themes’ and agree on an initial theme/s for school partnership projects within
      their group

•     Groups develop ideas for projects under the chosen theme to take back and further develop when Local
Authorities arrange meetings with their clusters of 10 schools

•     Participants are aware of communications channels, including web platform for regularly communicating
progress on plans and activities post contact seminar meeting
